NUAL® Brand Type RW90 single conductor aluminum alloy cable is designed for use in general purpose residential, commercial and industrial wiring applications. As with all NUAL® Brand aluminum alloy building wire, these products are of the highest quality, provide outstanding performance and offer tremendous flexibility. NUAL Brand RW90 cables meet or exceed the requirements of CSA C22.2 No. 38 and are approved for use in accordance with the recommendations of the Canadian Electrical Code. With a rating of 600 volts, NUAL Brand RW90 can be installed in enclosed raceways in both wet and dry locations and are designed for use as service, feeder or branch circuits. Standard RW90 may be pulled into underground ducts, but is not approved for direct burial in earth. NUAL Brand RW90 consists of a single aluminum alloy conductor with cross-linked polyethylene insulation. RW90 is available in multiple forms, including with an optional CSA-certified PVC outer covering. Reliable Termination – NUAL Brand conductors terminate safely with industry standard dual-rated aluminum lugs. Exceptional Insulation: The cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) insulation on NUAL Brand RW90 cable is rated for operating temperatures of -40ºC to +90 ºC and offers a higher maximum short-circuit temperature rating than thermoplastic insulation.
