Type-W portable power cable designed with rope-lay stranded, bunched members, annealed copper conductors. The 5-conductor colour-coding has black, white, red, green and orange colour sequence. A polyester or paper tape separates the copper conductors from the EP rubber insulation. The insulated conductors are assembled round with fillers as needed. The cable is covered with a black CPE rubber jacket. Jackets are reinforced by a braid or serve of synthetic material. Oil and sunlight resistant. Suitable for use in industrial and light-to-medium mining applications, heavy-duty service and temporary as power supply cables. Motor, battery and generator leads. It is also used for mobile and portable electrical equipment.
